We are currently seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our Global Finance department.


In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the global finance agenda and providing key decision support to our logistics management team.

*This position requires a hybrid schedule consisting of Tuesday and Wednesday in office days in our Parsippany, NJ headquarters location.

Approximately 15% travel is required for this role.

Responsibilities WHAT YOU'LL DO:

You will act as liaison between the finance group and the business segment head related to reporting, analysis, improvements, and accountability for the financial statements.
You will be comfortable having high-level conversations with senior leaders to understand the drivers of the various business operations and be a constructive business partner for segment management.
You bring a strong financial background, experience from an international environment with a strategic business orientation and are a strong collaborator and excellent communicator.


Primary responsibilities may include:
Responsible for monthly / quarterly / annual reporting for multiple entities Provide in depth variance analysis and commentary to senior management Coordinate the forecasting process with relevant segment department heads and global finance teams Understand targets and business drivers to the P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet, including financial ratios Support Logistics leadership in setting business goals and OKRs and developing strategies to meet those goals Lead new investment and contract renewal analysis Oversee performance improvement programs and drive initiatives through the Logistics Services segment Lead,train and coach junior team members Qualifications WHAT YOU'LL NEED

The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background, experience in an international environment, a strategic business orientation, and excellent collaboration and communication skills Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in Financial Planning and Analysis in a global setting Bachelor's degree in Finance or similar field Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong organizational skills and analytical skills with high level of attention to details Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint) Ability to manage large databases; query and format retrieved data translated into meaningful reports Even Better if You Have: Experience in shipping/logistics An analytical, structured, and solution oriented mindset Ability to operate within complex stakeholder environments, across geographies and business cultures Proven ability to be a proactive change agent with a strong drive and commitment to create results Master's degree in Finance or MBA Previous people management experience; training, coaching and mentoring a team ABOUT US Wallenius Wilhelmsen is an iconic shipping and logistics company with premium end-to-end supply chain management.
