Financial Reporting Intermediate Analyst
Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Financial Reporting Intermediate Analyst prepares quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports for mutual funds in accordance with GAAP and SEC requirements. Intermediate Analysts also:
Prepare and/or review financial statements and perform an initial review of SEC filings (e.g. N-PORT, N-CSR, N-1A, 24F-2)
Assist with audits and provide support as necessary
Prepare quarterly Board reports
Demonstrate an advanced understanding of mutual funds and financial markets
Respond proactively to internal and external client inquiries
Complete training sessions to increase industry knowledge
Work on special projects, other regulatory filings and ad hoc requests as assigned
Qualifications
Job Specifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related area or equivalent work experience
3-5 years accounting or reporting experience in the registered investment company or financial services industry
Advanced experience working with Microsoft Office applications required, especially Excel
