The Associate Advisor will be working closely with current clients and are required to bring in new clients. The candidate must possess strong sales skills and have a strong standard for building client relationships. Some traveling outside of Atlanta, GA may be required.
Furthermore, the Associate must be able to provide support to other team members across a wide range of operational and administrative duties.
The candidate MUST possess a high level of problem solving skills and attention to detail. He/she is expected to be proactive and possess a maturity to handle confidential and delicate client information and issues.
Responsibilities will include: Generating new leads and developing those leads into new financial planning clientsCollaborating with marketing to conduct networking events and other firm eventsOwning the financial planning client onboarding process, which includes providing a comprehensive understanding of the firm's service offering, understanding all client needs, creating the best strategy, overseeing implementation and leading the first service meeting to review progressProactively consulting with clients on a regular basis in order to maintain a current understanding of their financial situations and life circumstances and adjust their financial planning portfolio accordinglyDeveloping long-term relationships with clients by demonstrating solid financial planning skills and providing client-centered advice and guidance ¡Identify and successfully act on opportunities to gather additional client assets and businessIdentifying and successfully acting on opportunities to gather additional client assets and businessUsing financial planning knowledge and the firm's investment strategies to recommend appropriate solutions to help clients reach their financial goals and objectivesReviewing and rebalancing client advisory accounts quarterly to ensure optimal expected returnsManaging client distributions and contributions related to investment accountsQualifications: At least 2 years experience in the financial services industrySome experience using Salesforce software for administration and/or developmentHigh level of proficiency in using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat softwareMust be able to commute to the firm's office in Atlanta, GA and work beyond typical hours during busy business seasons, such as tax season
