Fire Protection System Designer We are partnered with an area recognized and established fire protection and life safety system company who is actively looking to add a proven Fire Protection System Designer to their growing team! They have a great reputation and believe strongly in supporting the growth of their employees and are dedicated to maintaining an outstanding work culture.
High School diploma or GED, and a technical school degree with emphasis on drafting and math Minimum of 5 years alarm drafting experience Preferred 10 years fire alarm and fire suppression design AutoCAD training with solid understanding of drafting techniques engineering terminology 3+ years related design drafting experience. Understanding and knowledge of NFPA codes & standards Understanding and knowledge of Fire Alarm or fire suppression systems
Responsibilities:
Independently reviews and validates information required to create drawings according to specifications and standard procedures Independently prepares application drawings for Fike's systems Reviews and checks drawings prepared by others Maintains drawing database, service request report, and drawing files Provides document support for Test Procedure Information (TPI) to learn about the remaining responsibilities of the position contact me immediately.
