You will be responsible for the service and maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems. CLICK HERE:?TECHNICIAN VIDEO As a?Fire Alarm Systems Service Technician, you will:Execute comprehensive testing and inspections for systems under maintenance agreements Create detailed test and inspection reports based on code requirements and customer needsSwiftly respond to, troubleshoot, and complete necessary repairs to maintain system functionality. Report on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or materialCode Compliance: Identify code and non-conformance issues, ensuring adherence to required standardsQuote small repair jobs and provide detailed parts and labor requirements to estimators and sales for large repair projectsPlan work with mentor, Lead Technicians, and Supervisors to strategize tasks effectivelyYou will make an impact with these qualifications:Basic Qualifications:?1+ years' experience in the installation and/or maintenance of commercial fire alarm systemsMust be able and willing to differentiate types/colors of wire; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds?unassistedMust obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 2 within 12 monthsMust be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations?Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:?High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred3+ years' experience in the installation and/or maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems?Ability to read/understand design and construction documentsYou'll benefitfrom:Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
