POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is on the embedded software team to assist the engineers with testing, including wireless and firmware/hardware integration. This person will work in a lab environment with oscilloscopes, debuggers, code reviews, and sensors. ISC has many projects ongoing, and this person will focus on firmware – debugging, integration and testing.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES
Project Biggie Smalls – testing modules and FW/HW integration testing
Participate in Code Reviews on all projects
AoS – assistance with choosing components and updating existing firmware to work with new parts
Writing reports for the detailed analysis and testing
Work with engineers to develop new modules and new functions for instruments
Run experiments using new and/or existing hardware to demonstrate use cases
REQUIREMENTS
Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering- graduating December 2025 or later.
Good analytical skills for performing and evaluating tests
Understanding of 'C' code – able to read/write code in C programming language
Good communication skills – written reports and express ideas verbally
Can complete tasks with guidance from an engineer
