Rhombus is looking for a Firmware Validation Engineer who will be responsible for developing validation plans that will direct validation activities.
\n What We're Looking For:Experience working with C programming Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python Experience in firmware validation in a client-based or enterprise environmentExperience with User level Linux Experience with embedded software development What You'll Be Doing: Analyze embedded C source code to identify areas that require testing Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for firmware validationConduct functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing to validate firmware functionality and stabilityCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams including firmware developers, hardware engineers, and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve issuesUtilize industry-standard tools and methodologies for firmware validation, debugging, and troubleshootingStay updated on the latest industry trends, standards, and best practices related to firmware validationContribute to the continuous improvement of validation processes, tools, and methodologies
\nThis is an onsite position based in Sacramento, CA. Candidates must be able to commute to the office 5 days a week. Compensation Base Salary: $80,000-$90,000 Additional forms of compensation, depending on the role, include sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity in the company. Individual pay is determined based on the candidate's primary work/hiring location and additional factors, such as skills and experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training.
