Full job description Position: Fiscal Assistant
Status: Part-time, 25 hours/week, 9am-2pm daily, can be hybrid remote/in-office
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience with Sage Software and Accounts Payable
Duties and Responsibilities 1. Responsible for accurately and efficiently completing all accounts payable tasks
Experience utilizing Sage Software to manage all accounts payable Pay Simple IRA Prepare Financials as needed for yearly audit Oversee Aflac Billing 2. Responsible for managing the individual accounts of individuals we service
Review monthly statements and reconcile individual accounts Pay Representative Payee bills Process reimbursements to Helping Hands for paid expenses Mail statements to those that owe money that we are not the individual rep payee Process individual withdrawals for petty cash and paychecks Prepare financial information for annual licensing inspections 3. Office Assistant (Misc Tasks as needed)
Act as a back -up support for payroll and agency billing Filing Answer phones Set up new computers, assign email addresses, handle computer issues, liaison with IT company for computer support. Skills: Proficient in utilizing Sage accounting software Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information Apply on our website at under the "Employment Tab".
