Job Title: Fitter Location: Ashland, VA Pay Rate: $23.00 - $28.00/Hour (Depending on Experience) Shift: 1st Shift Duration: Full-Time, Contract to Hire About the Company: Our client specializes in structural substation work for data centers, working with a variety of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, silicon, and titanium. They focus on both thin and thick gauge structural steel, ensuring high-quality results in a dynamic environment.
\n Responsibilities:Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints accurately.Utilize a tape measure with proficiency for precise measurements.Use personal tools including squares, tape measures, Bessey clamps, reachovers, levels, and hammers.Perform MIG and Flux welding with a focus on quality and safety. Must Have:Strong ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.Proficiency in using a tape measure.Own a set of tools necessary for the job.Knowledge and experience in MIG and Flux welding. Preferred:TIG welding experience is a plus.
