\n Functional Responsibilities Primary focus will be completing Flare testing for the Flare Systems group, though there will also be occasional opportunities to work on other combustion testing (Burners, TO's, etc) for cross-training.Help confirm equipment selection/design and perform / coordinate required calculations and sketches to establish flare equipment design and representative flare test set-ups.Perform / coordinate flare tests in the most effective and efficient manners that will meet or exceed customer expectation. Perform / coordinate flare product research and developmentTesting equipment to ensure calibrations and configurations of the equipment are in good working order. Effective troubleshooting in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical control systems. Good communication skills in order to work with customers during customer flare acceptance tests. Regular contact with all levels of personnel throughout the organization. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures. Organizing work tasks and supervising Flare Test TechniciansOther duties as assigned. Qualifications:B.S. degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc.) and/or five (5) years related experience in a manufacturing environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have personal computer skills and we willing to work outside long hours. Physical Requirements:Must be able to stand/be on your feet for long periods of timeMust be able to lift 50 poundsMust have the ability to work in areas where temperatures and noise levels can be extreme—the majority of the work performed will be outside exposed to all elements Walking up and down stairs
