Job Responsibilities: Reporting to the Fleet Supervisor, this position is responsible for providing maintenance and repairs to the Dufferin Concrete/Ontario Redimix fleet of heavy duty trucks Use of leading diagnostic technology to identify breakdowns, ordering required parts, removal, rework and installation of various engine and chassis components, as well as performing maintenance schedules. Working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps and motors, and air brake systems are required. Requirements: The ideal candidate will hold a 310T Mechanic License Working on all systems of the ready mix truck, including engines, hydraulic pumps, motors and air brake systems, no two days will be the same. There will be some travel to other Dufferin Concrete plants so a valid driver's license is required.
