Serious Inquiries Only: Special Project Needed 2 Months Only (June & July Only) - $20.00 an Hour The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and vacuuming.Care for different types of floors (including but not limited to carpet, tile, VCT, wood) by hand and/or use of power equipment.Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.Job assignments can vary from facility to facility with the possibility of transfer.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The job requires extended periods of walking and/or standing. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here represent those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee may be exposed to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including AIDS and Hepatitis B Virus. The noise level is usually moderate. All jobs are considered temporary in nature contingent on the employee's work performance and/or ability to meet the above requirements.
