Schedules duties and assists manager with staff training and compliance. Reviews work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety. Ensures proper cash handling and tip record-keeping for the shift. Investigates and resolves complaints regarding food quality, service and accommodations. Perform some service tasks such as assisting guests, stocking shelves, counting inventory, and cashier duties. Other duties as assigned. Restaurant experience required with two years of supervisory experience preferred. Self-motivated, work without direct supervision, embrace challenges and initiates projects and opportunities. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to implement rules and direct staff. Must maintain excellent customer service and employee relations in a faced paced environment. Required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Will stand and walk throughout shift with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and grasping. Will frequently reach over head up to 7 feet. Push and pull occasionally to move equipment, use mops and brooms. May be exposed to normal dangers found in kitchen environment, such as cuts, scrapes, burns and scalds.
