We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, banquet services, and kitchen areas. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, achieving financial goals, and maintaining high service standards. As the F&B Manager, you'll have the opportunity to lead and develop a talented team, drive the business forward, and ensure compliance with all brand and government regulations.
Experience: 4-5 years of experience in a related position within the food and beverage or hospitality industry.Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food and beverage management profession, including management of complex problems and food and beverage operations.Strong ability to analyze activities or information and arrive at logical conclusions.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on management communication. Leadership: Plan and direct daily functions of the Food and Beverage department to meet operational needs and financial goals.Operations Management: Oversee the smooth functioning of all sub-departments, including restaurant, banquet rooms, and kitchen, ensuring full compliance with policies and procedures.Budgeting & Cost Control: Develop, implement, and monitor schedules, food and beverage controls, and labor costs to ensure profitability.Customer Focus: Ensure consistent presentation of foods and beverages and oversee guest services, adjusting offerings as market demands shift.Team Development: Hire, train, counsel, and motivate department personnel, ensuring performance reviews are completed and team members are empowered to deliver exceptional service.Guest Relations: Effectively manage guest complaints, inquiries, and special requests, using service recovery strategies to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.Compliance: Ensure full adherence to food sanitation policies, safety regulations, and brand standards.Event Coordination: Work closely with the Chef and/or Sous Chef to ensure accurate and timely execution of special events, BEOs (Banquet Event Orders), and daily specials.Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager and other hotel departments to achieve quality service and operational excellence.Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a safe work environment by following safety procedures and ensuring all areas are clean and free of hazards. Oversee food production, guest service, and cost control efforts for all food and beverage operations.Perform staff performance appraisals, manage payroll, and ensure timely resolution of any staffing issues.Regularly review and evaluate customer satisfaction levels and adjust services accordingly.Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and make improvements as needed.Assist in developing operational tools and budgets, including forecasting and purchasing specifications.Act as a role model by stepping into any F&B staff position when needed, demonstrating a hands-on approach.Manage daily timecards, overtime, and approve staff hours. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's Degree or higher preferred).Experience: 4-5 years in a Food & Beverage Manager role (hotel experience preferred).Skills: Strong knowledge of F&B operations, including POS systems, food preparation standards, and customer service etiquette.Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and perform manual tasks such as carrying a tray overhead.Flexibility: Ability to work varied shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
