The Baltimore Country Club is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager/ Restaurant Manager who will be responsible for managing service for fine and casual dining and/or banquet events. The Manager will assure all dining facilities are setup and service is delivered in a manner that exemplifies gracious hospitality, our commitment to excellence, and provides the best experiences for our members and their guests. The Manager will interact with members and their guests to ensure their needs are being met, receive and resolve questions and issues concerning food, beverages, and service, and act as a liaison between the dining room, kitchen, and other departments.
Other responsibilities will include supervising, training, and scheduling staff, managing and controlling expenses, securing the dining areas at the end of each service, and managing and maintaining the dining room inventory.
Candidate must have proven experience in successfully managing a-la-carte and banquet service, scheduling, and motivating staff to perform at an exceptional level. They should have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with members, guests, Club management, and staff, knowledge of F&B software, and Microsoft Excel and Word, and be able to work all shifts including weekends and evenings. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management are strongly preferred. A working knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine is desirable.
