Food Regulatory Specialist - Remote

Vaco Boston has partnered with our client to hire a Regulatory Specialist to join their team!


Where: Fully remote
Pay: $39/hour
When: Immediate need

**Qualified candidates must posses Food Regulatory knowledge inclusive of food label graphics reviews and ingredient compliance checks along with knowledge of 21CFR.
**

Responsibilities: Review and approve formulas and ingredients for compliance Analyze product formulations Create final Label Content, including substantiated claims, compliant nutrition facts & ingredient statements as well as all other U.S. and/or Canada mandated label content.
Review finished product labels Provide support for Regulatory data maintenance projects Requirements: University degree in a scientific field (minimum B.S., Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Toxicology, Nutrition,) preferred.
Regulatory experience in food industry 6 months to 5 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs of a Consumer Products Company with working knowledge of U.S. FDA labeling regulations as published in 21 CFR Parts 1-199.
Technical Knowledge & Software Applications: (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Optiva).
