Food Safety Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Food Safety Quality Assurance Manager to lead and oversee food safety initiatives for a well-known and respected Food Manufacturing Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In this role, you will be responsible for guiding the company's food safety and quality control efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal standards.
You will also play a key role in developing and implementing robust food safety protocols and leading a high-performing team committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of food safety and quality systems, including SQF and HACCP programs Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and maintain communication with regulatory bodies Supervise and mentor the food safety team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations, and serve as the main point of contact for external audits and certifications Continuously review and refine quality assurance processes to ensure consistent adherence to product specifications and safety protocols Qualifications: Required: SQF Practitioner and HACCP Certifications Experience in the beef industry, with a preference for experience on the slaughter side Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices 3-5 years of relevant experience, including supervisory responsibilities Preferred: Bilingual proficiency Why Join: Work with a well-respected industry leader Family-owned and operated for over 70 years Flexible start and stop times Attractive compensation package PAID RELOCATION AVAILABLE
