Job Responsibilities:Greets guests, answers questions, ensures quality service, and resolves complaints for guests.Conducts daily audits of food service areas, utilizing Six Flags' approved audit platform and/or form(s).Prepares reports for regular review with the Director of In-Park Services, including weekly recaps and suggestions on improving processes.Corrects immediate areas of deficiencies when observed.Provides regular training for all associates in the field and/or classroom setting on maintaining proper food safety.Reports maintenance concerns that could adversely affect food and personal safety.Ensures all safety equipment is used properly; alerts Supervisor of any malfunctions or safety concerns.Attends all necessary meetings regarding Food & Beverage.Acts as a liaison with the park's Public Safety Department.Assists Supervision in completing accident reports when needed.Works with inspectors from third party compliance auditors and Department of Health when on site.Manages relationships with pest control operators, including regular communication regarding areas of opportunity.Prepares reports and Action Plans to correct areas of deficiency as needed.ServSafe Certified or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of employment.Verifies food safety by evaluating aspects of the environment including food handler training certifications and proper food handling procedures.Provides guest service according to Six Flags' standards, including initiating guest interactions and answering questions.Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags' Safety guidelines.Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Meets Six Flags' attendance requirements as outlined in attendance policies.Adheres to Six Flags' Rules of Conduct including grooming standards.Other duties may be assigned.Organizational Relationship: Reports to Director of In-Park Services.Qualifications:Two to four years related experience in food service management, health inspections, and quality assurance.Must be at least 18 years of age.Understanding of Federal, State, and local laws regarding food facility inspections.Prior food safety/quality assurance training experience preferred.Ability to multitask and ensure all issues are corrected timely.Ability to work effectively as a team member and provide feedback on inspection deficiencies.In-depth knowledge of sanitation and food preparation practices.Ability to handle multiple projects while paying attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for long periods.Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Ability to pass a mandatory drug test per Company policy.Ability to pass a background check if 18 years or older.Certifications required: ServSafe, ServSafe Alcohol, California Food Handlers Card.Six Flags Entertainment is an equal opportunity employer. Pay Rate: $18.00/hour - $20.00/hour, based on prior experience.
