Responsibilities Assists in coordinating and executing plant tests.Participates with cross functional teams both internal and external in the execution of innovative product launches.Research and develop knowledge of USDA requirements/regulations involving meat labeling, nutritional data, GMO, allergen status, etc.Perform analyses using basic food analysis equipment such as pH meters, refractometers, moisture analyzers, water activity meters, viscometers, etc.
and summarize basic test results.Operates food processing/smokehouse/packaging equipment.Assist with product tastings and showings. Requirements Technical Associate's degree or currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.Minimum two (2) years of experience in food manufacturing/production environment or in an R&D Testing Center.Experience with food processing equipment, production, and/or test systems.Ability to analyze data, identify trends and prepare reports.Good communication skills both verbal and written.Self-starter with ability to work independently and make decisions.Proficient using MS Office Suite and other database systems.
