Forklift Operator

Job Summary:
Forklift Operators at AutoZone are responsible for operating technical equipment to efficiently handle goods within the warehouse.
This role is crucial in managing the storage and retrieval of stock to support business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to transport goods and materials to and from designated areas in the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from trucks, trailers, and other transport vehicles.
- Perform daily equipment checks, such as recharging the forklift's battery and lubricating equipment.
- Store the products in proper places in the warehouse.
- Use RFID scanning equipment to track inventory movements and maintain accurate stock records.
- Follow safety regulations and standards in all operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as forklift operator.
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
- Valid certification to operate forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment.
