Forklift Operator
The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties.
$18.75 per hour Duties and Responsibilities: Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, and various types of forklifts.
Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
Handling and Moving Objects Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
Finalize receipt of goods report on closing day and provide documentation for processing Verify all reports for accuracy of locations, quantities and product received Perform daily checklist on all equipment used Identify and report all safety hazards Repack damaged product in new boxes and palletize Clean warehouse area as assigned Deposit trash from assigned area in dumpster All other assignments as requested Qualifications ONDAY-Minimum Qualifications: One year as a Forklift Operator Able to lift and maneuver cases over 50lbs continuously Able to perform basic math Legally authorized to work in the United States Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check Physical Demands of Job: Must be able to work in different work in different climates (cooler / freezer / dry) Start, Stick and Stay!
