1st shift - 8am - 4:30pm - $19.00
2nd shift - 4:00pm - 12:30am - $20.00
Weekend shift - 7am - 7:30pm - $21.00 What's a typical day as a Forklift Operator? You'll be:
• Receiving, distributing, and storing products as directed in designated, secure locations.
• Preparing and maintaining records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information.
• Reviewing shipments and documents for quality and accuracy.
• Transporting and loading materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).
• Resolving issues with contractors or vendors when problems arise.
• Validating, approving, and forwarding invoices to accounting department.
• Collecting and properly disposing of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Abiding by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
• Performing other related duties as assigned. This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have at least1-2 years of related Forklift or industrial truck experience.
• Have excellent verbal communication skills.
• Have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Have good math and written communication skills.
• Have efficient time management skills.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or other formal training in related field preferred.
• Are not afraid of heights, order picker can go up to 30 feet high.
• Can lift/push/pull up to 55 pounds at a time.
