The Opportunity This position will be responsible for formulating nutrient premix based on customers' request. Assuring regulatory compliance, fit customer applications, shelf life, process and stability. Will participate in ingredient evaluation and provide internal blending instructions when needed. Follow thru with technically sound resolutions.
Develop formulas and quotations based on customers' requirementsCommunication with customers technical personal and salesResearch ingredients and applicationsEnsure ingredient compliance to customer's specificationsTroubleshoot application questionsWrites product specification sheets and other related documents.Stays current with food fortification market trends and apply knowledge to product / prototype development.Support the research and development of new ingredients, blends, processes, and finished productsResponsible for staying abreast of new and innovative products and industry needs.Other R & D responsibilities as neededAssist and communicate with Technical Services group, QA/QC, Procurement and Marketing. The Skills you will bring to the team Must possess a Bachelor of Science degree (B. S.) and a minimum of two years' experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must have some acumen for food and supplement processingAbility to write routine reports and correspondence.
