About the Job: Responsible for coordinating provider and resource schedules such as clinics, nutrition, and clinical trial schedules for the Practice as well as interfacing with multiple departments to ensure that all patient office, testing, and procedures are scheduled and all appropriate functions that accompany the procedures are completed.
What You'll Do: Communicate with hospital departments to schedule testing for Inpatient and Emergency Room patients.
Schedule patients for follow-up visits and patient procedures.
Respond to all inquiries from patients concerning preparation for procedures and expected follow-up.
Responsible for scheduling patients for appointments at outside entities.
Who You Are: High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
Customer service experience
Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
Knowledge of reception tasks, clinic policies/procedures, and paperwork.
Epic or EMR experience is a plus!
