Our platform is tailored specifically to the needs of film and television productions, issuing spend cards and offering financial tools to support filmmakers, helping them focus on their craft. PostCredit is backed by a pre-seed round led by Better Tomorrow Ventures (Ramp, Unit), along with key executives from Sony, Disney, Iconiq, and Goldman Sachs. Position: Founding Account Executive Overview: We're at an exciting stage of growth, transitioning from founder-led sales to a dedicated sales team, and we're looking for a Founding Account Executive to help lead the charge. This is a unique opportunity for a high-performing sales professional to join a fast-growing, mission-driven fintech startup and take ownership of building the next phase of our revenue engine. As the first dedicated Account Executive, you will play a key role in driving PostCredit's expansion into new markets, working closely with production companies, producers, and accountants in the entertainment industry. You will be responsible for developing and executing the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing, while helping shape the overall sales strategy and processes. The ideal candidate is a driven, strategic thinker with experience in fintech and/or the entertainment industry, who is ready to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development: Spearhead PostCredit's sales efforts, taking ownership of prospecting, lead generation, and driving the sales pipeline from initial contact to deal closure. Conduct outreach to cold and warm leads via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels, expanding our reach across production companies, producers, and accountants. Present PostCredit's platform through engaging product demos, showcasing its value and addressing customer needs. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including production accountants, producers, and business managers, to ensure successful sales cycles and long-term partnerships. Sales Strategy and Market Insights: Work closely with the founding team to shape and refine the go-to-market strategy, leveraging your insights from direct customer interactions. Provide input on messaging, positioning, and product features based on customer feedback and market trends. Develop strategies to break into new verticals and markets within the entertainment industry. Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with broader marketing campaigns. Client Relationship Management: Build and manage strong client relationships, ensuring a smooth and positive experience throughout the sales process. Work hand-in-hand with the customer success team to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing customer satisfaction post-sale. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their unique pain points and offering tailored solutions. Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities and pipeline management using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Report on sales progress, providing forecasts to leadership and identifying key wins, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Scaling Sales: As the first dedicated sales hire, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of PostCredit's sales team. Develop and document sales processes to ensure scalability as the company grows and expands its customer base. Mentor future hires as we expand the sales team, contributing to the development of best practices and training materials. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in a sales or account executive role, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in fintech, SaaS, or entertainment industries. Deep relationships in entertainment across film, tv and commercial production Previous experience helping transition from founder-led sales environments and a demonstrated ability to succeed in early-stage startups. Strong knowledge of or experience working with clients in the film, television, or entertainment industry. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate PostCredit's value proposition and handle objections. Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track sales activities and manage pipelines. Strong relationship-building skills with a high level of emotional intelligence to engage and retain clients. Ability to work independently, self-manage priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in fintech , expense management , or SaaS sales . Experience at a talent agency or advertising/branding agency with proven success in tech sales or selling tech-enabled solutions to clients. Deep understanding of the entertainment industry, especially around budgeting and expense management processes. Demonstrated ability to shape and build the foundation of a scalable sales organization in a fast-paced startup. Compensation: Competitive base salary plus commission structure.
