Founding Backend Engineer (Staff-Level) (8+ Years Exp)

The Role As a Founding Backend Engineer, you'll be responsible for building complex systems, including projects such as a workflow orchestrator (distributed state machine) and Large Action Models.
Our team operates 100% remotely and focuses on impact and outcome-based results. Collaboration primarily occurs within the Eastern and Mountain time zones.
Key Responsibilities: Build systems from the ground up, ensuring robust and scalable architecture.Engage in full lifecycle software development. Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years of full lifecycle software development experience.Proficiency in Node.js (TypeScript) and relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).Strong side project experience or background as a startup founder is preferred.Understanding of cloud architectures and infrastructure, including queues, Redis, Docker, and AWS or Azure.Bonus points for proficiency in Python, Golang, or React/NextJS.
