About the Role The Company is seeking a Fractional VP of Content and Merchandising to spearhead the design and merchandising strategy for its diverse product assortment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting strategic priorities, directing product design, and driving the overall merchandise strategy across all brands.
This role involves leading internal new product development, partnering with various teams to establish go-to-market approaches, and managing the product lifecycle.
The VP will also be tasked with developing a comprehensive content strategy, ensuring brand messaging is consistent, and leveraging data-driven insights to enhance the customer experience and optimize conversion rates.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in direct-to-consumer e-commerce, with a focus on tangible products, and at least 10 years in a senior merchandising or product design role.
A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with design and licensing experience being advantageous.
The role demands a leader with strong project management skills, the ability to adapt to changing market conditions, and a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, process-driven, and able to work at a high pace across multiple brands and product lines, while ensuring the delivery of revenue and margin goals.
