Franchise Business Consultant Position Summary
Primary purpose of this position: The Franchise Business Consultant oversees the performance of restaurants, partnering with Franchise Owners to provide customized business direction that impacts restaurant operations, promotes guest satisfaction, and maximizes sales and profitability.
The Franchise Business Consultant will coach and train Franchise Owners on operational initiatives and strategies to improve business performance in all areas.
This position would take the lead in coordinating new restaurant openings, closures, training, and granular follow-up support driving KPIs.
The position requires the Franchise Business Consultant to travel up to 25% of the time and build strong relationships with the Franchise Owners and regional teams to impact lasting change, drive action plans, and improve restaurant performance in their area.
Strong business acumen, P&L and restaurant experience, and food safety focus are key traits to a successful Franchise Business Consultant.
Responsibilities:
Achieves financial and operational results by effectively overseeing regional operations programs and initiatives. Completes a targeted number of restaurant/Franchise Partner visits and provides exemplary business consulting services to Franchise Partners to drive their success. Works as needed with cross-functional teams such as R&D, marketing, purchasing, training retail technology, and others to launch and achieve targeted results for operations programs and initiatives. Assists on-site trainers on new store openings and transfers for new franchisees in assigned territory.
Helps emphasize corporate expectations and adherence to operational excellence policies and procedures with new franchise partners. Work with Franchise Partners to create action plans and coordinate reporting of related KPIs to influence performance management. Emphasize corporate expectations and adherence to operational excellence policies and procedures Work closely with Franchise Partners in the development of their location and track the development of these locations to ensure timely completion Assist in researching of the site selection of proposed locations Coaches and enforces operational store procedures and policies and compliance with the Operations Manual and operational survey. Provides continuous leadership to his/her Franchise Partners on successful operations management. Launches new operational programs, food products/other promotional items associated with the annual marketing calendar, equipment and/or technology inside applicable region Represents company operations as needed on various operations, Franchise Advisory Council, R&D, training, information technology, purchasing or other functional committee as needed. Performs other duties as assigned Conforms with all corporate policies and procedures Monitors system compliance and maintenance of company initiatives through the adoption of mandated equipment POS systems, 3rd party delivery, and other technology support to ensure exceptional guest service and improve franchisee profitability Drives exceptional overall guest satisfaction through close interaction with franchise owners and above restaurant leadership teams with effective corrective action plans and world class guest service. Identifies and facilitates required training for Franchise Owners and Restaurant managers. Protect integrity of the brand by teaching and measuring performance in areas including but not limited to product quality, customer service, cleanliness and profitability FENG CHA Franchise Business Consultant is responsible for driving operations initiatives and achieving results to impact the long-term success for Franchise Partners and FENG CHA brand.

REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business or related field 3 - 7 years of restaurant/franchise operations experience. Quick service, multi-unit franchise operations, and/or hospitality industry experience. Experience as a Franchise Consultant and/or Certified Trainer a plus. Strong ability to build relationships, effectively communicate and positively influence Franchisees and other key constituents. Strong financial acumen, analysis/problem solving, negotiating and influencing skills. Demonstrated and successful ability to lead, motivate, hold accountable, develop, direct and achieve target results for Franchise Partners. Demonstrated track record for flexibility and urgency in prioritizing and organizing projects. Possesses a high degree of drive with a proven track record of achieving results. Excellent communication (written and oral), organization and problem solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft computer skills, i.e.
