While this role is fully remote, temp must be based in a state where Edelman has a US office, preferably in EST or CST. This position will run through end of February 2025, with an option to extend. Edelman is looking for a temporary Community Manager to support a major consumer goods portfolio, with products spanning food and personal care.   We are looking for a candidate with a desire to be challenged and a hunger to make great work. You will be a social media-native who loves creating innovative work that breaks through on the feed.   As a Community Manager, you will be operating as our brands' eyes, ears, and tone of voice on social. You will engage and nurture a community across multiple channels through relevant content and meaningful interactions, ensuring alignment with brand tones every step of the way. You will also support the development of campaign briefs, mining for social platform insights that can help fuel larger activations.    You have an instinct for real-time opportunities and social trends, are able to monitor consumer conversation for relevant insights, and bring social-first, community-led thinking to brainstorms and content ideation. You will partner closely with the account and creative teams to develop, manage, and post social responses, proactively flag opportunities to the team, and monitor for brand safety.   To be successful in this role, you will have solid research, writing, and editing skills and an appreciation for how social media can build brand.  
\n Responsibilities Demonstrable experience working in digital, community management or social media.An understanding of emerging and existing social & digital channels, trends, culture and formats (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads).A thirst for knowledge and desire to understand human behavior.Great writing skills, strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.The ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.A solid understanding of online outreach and the ability to develop online engagement strategies.Knowledge of influencers, creators, and tastemakers across social platforms is a plus.Hands-on experience with tools such as Sprinklr is a plus. Basic QualificationsAt least 2 years of agency experience working in social media or copywriting. What You'll BringDemonstrable experience working in digital, community management or social media. An understanding of emerging and existing social & digital channels, trends, culture and formats.  A thirst for knowledge and desire to understand human behavior. Great writing skills, strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. The ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A solid understanding of online outreach and the ability to develop online engagement strategies. Knowledge of influencers, creators, and tastemakers across social platforms.  Ability to juggle multiple tasks, priorities, and brands at once.  Hands-on experience with tools such as Sprinklr/Sprout is a plus.  
\n$40 - $50 an hour
An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees.
