Job Description -Scaffold
Summary / Objective
A Scaffold Builder is responsible for the construction, assembly, maintaining and dismantling of tubular scaffolding.
Essential Functions
Adheres to all OSHA, site specific and Marquis Construction Services requirements for the construction, assembly and dismantling of the scaffolding.
Inspects job site and all scaffold material for defect and safety hazards Participate in safety pre-job audits (JSA's) with the scaffolding crew to ensure all safety hazards have been identified Conduct daily visual inspections of scaffolding to ensure structural stability Properly secures scaffold to the permanent structure for added stability.
Assembles scaffold containing handrails, mid-rails, braces and planks, toe boards, handrails, walkways, platforms and gangways.
Hoist scaffolding materials, upward in order to erect temporary structure Regularly inspect scaffolding components and recognize damaged or defective parts vital to the structure of the scaffold Responsible for cleaning and preparing site - removing debris and materials.
Any other duties as assigned by supervision Work Environment

Qualifications High School Degree or equivalent Required to wear PPE on job site at all times.
Ability to pass Hair Follicle Testing Acceptable Background TWIC Card Ability to work overtime Successful complete DOW Safety Training
