We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and Qualifications Emergency Room Nurse TheFreestandingRegisteredNurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act. Utilizes therapeutic communication in daily practice.Maintains a safe therapeutic environment.Identifiesnursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient. Registered Nurse plans individualized patient care whileutilizingan interdisciplinary approach.Participates in performance improvement activities.Provides care and coordinates participation that fosters the goals of the hospital's mission and vision statement. When acting inchargenurserole, registered nursesare responsible forday-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a therapeutic environment.Make staff assignments based on patient need,acuityand the skill of the staff. Serve as role models and clinical resource for the staff.Respond in a timely manner to requests for information or follow-up with physician, staff or patient issues. What you will do in this role: You willmonitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions whilemaintainingaccurateand detailed records You will order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests toidentifyand assessthe patient'scondition. What qualifications you will need: Current RN licensure by TN Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state Current BLS ACLS and PALS within 1 year of employment CPI within 6 months of employment 1 Year of RNExperience 1 year of ER experience highly preferred TriStar Centennial Medical Center is a 740+ bed comprehensive facility.
