The primary responsibility of the Front Desk Agent is to greets and register guests, provide prompt and courteous service, and close out guest accounts upon completion of stay to meet the property's high standards of quality.
Applicants must:
•Possess basic mathematical skills and considerable skill in the use of a calculator to prepare moderately complex mathematical calculations without error
•Effectively deal with internal and external customers with patience, tact and diplomacy
•Have the ability to stand at length and continuously perform essential job functions
•Have the ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
•Have the ability to accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
•Have the ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations
Qualifications include:
•Any combination of education, training, or experience equivalent to graduation from college or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
•High school diploma required
•College degree preferred
