JOB DESCRIPTION
The Member Services Team Member plays an integral role in providing an exceptional front-line experience for our members and guests, and in doing so, contributes to the overall success of the company.
Our Member Services Team provides the first impression of who we are to anyone who enters our space and is there to greet, acknowledge, and assist all members and guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure that all members and guests check in and have active membershipsOversee guest and member traffic flowManage and process different types of guestsCollect dues and updating billing when appropriateMonitor and address membership alertsAssist members and guests with all inquiries and concernsReport all issues in a timely mannerContribute to maintaining the club-wide standards of cleanlinessAnswer phone calls and direct them appropriatelyHelp integrate members into the club (completing profile, taking photos, distributing barcodes)Assist other departments when necessaryAttend all required meetingsMaintain an active and working knowledge of Cowboys Fit as a company, as well as all services and promotionsRemain proficient in policies and directives as outlined in the Member Services Playbook REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: General understanding of Fitness IndustryAbility to work with computersExcellent customer service and interpersonal communication skillsIndependent, self-starter with strong organizational skillsMust be a team playerAdhere to meal and rest break periods and must clock in and out for all shift times 2) Minimum Certifications/Education: Must complete company HR trainings 3) Minimum Experience: 1-2 years customer service experience preferred 4) Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 45 poundsTyping, using the telephone and computer mouseFrequent sitting, standing, walking, and stair climbing This position description intends to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
