Responsibilities
• Oversees staff hiring, orientation, training, and evaluation• Schedules front desk staff to ensure appropriate coverage• Coordinates communication with all divisions within the community center• Monitors and trains staff on customer service, daily operations, and cash handling• Ensures the lobby area remains clean and inviting• Oversees merchandise inventory and sales• Tracks membership status and billing for special services groups• Conducts membership audits and troubleshoots member accounts• Manages membership retention efforts and promotions• Collects and updates information on other community resources
Requirements
• Graduation from high school• Two (2) years of specialized training in office management or bookkeeping related fields• Bachelor's degree in recreation management or related field preferred• Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in similar duties or related fields• Working knowledge of personal computers and various software applications• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships• Ability to set up and maintain computerized databases• Must possess a valid driver's license• Must be certified in CPR/First Aid and Defensive Driving within six months of hire date
