Revive is looking for a talented and experienced Front End Developer to develop thoughtful and easy-to-use online experiences using ReactJS, Shopify and custom APIs. The right fit will jump in on finding useful, scalable solutions. They will help establish and promote good development practices from ideation through launch.
This position will support our CTO, Web Project Manager, Full-stack Developer and Front-end Designer/Developer by coding up the responsive front end of projects and tracking changes using Git. Troubleshoot and fix common website issues. You will primarily work with ReactJS, the Shopify ecommerce platform, custom API integrations and Prismic CMS.
The CTO and CEO will work with you one-on-one to ensure you're successful in your role. This position reports to the CTO who will be providing weekly check-ins to support you as you grow in your career with us.
4+ years of experience developing and launching consumer-facing Shopify websites4+ years of ReactJS experienceProficiency in HTML, CSS, Sass, JS, ReactJS and NodeShopify Ecommerce APIs and Liquid templatingCode websites from designs created in the Adobe suite or FigmaDemonstrable web development skills with a strong portfolio featuring websites made using ReactJS and ShopifyAn understanding of front-end web development best practices to create responsive, fast-loading websitesExperience using Amazon Web Services and GitComfortable efficiently getting data from APIs and integrating it into ReactJS appsExperience with Headless Shopify and API-based Content Management Systems is a plus Developing and maintaining features for our Shopify, Headless Shopify and Prismic websitesContent modeling for Content Management SystemsDeveloping new features for our own SaaS brandReporting progress to our Web Project Manager using Asana and SlackCollaborating with our CTO and Senior Developer to iterate on creating forward-thinking solutions in pull requests and code reviews Entrepreneurial and team-oriented spirit to help scale our small and growing team - no big egos!Constructively communicates ideas and rationale with team and clients ensure qualityAppreciates delivering products incrementally to provide value to clients as early as possible.Ability to brainstorm around project hurdles and come up with creative, human-centered solutions.A drive to promote accessible online experiences for everyoneWillingness to perform some website maintenance tasksEnjoys learning from and collaborating with co-workers.Professionally communicates with clients and coworkers via phone calls, Zoom, Google Hangouts and Slack.Interest in the outdoors and non-profit sectors is a plus.Comfortable managing multiple projects at once Remote workSome flexible Monday-Friday hours (for events like childcare dropoff/pickup)401(k) w/company matchPaid time offPaid company holidaysEducation Reimbursement for industry-related courses
