Responsibilities Medical Front desk/receptionist experience is required (patient access, scheduling, call center, insurance verification, etc.
)They do follow-up with current patients and schedule new patients with the DoctorsAlthough they have a built out call center, they will be responsible for making outbound calls throughout the day when needed and occasionally there are calls that are transferred to them at the front desk.
They can expect around 10 calls per day on averageThe Front Office Associate will be responsible for uploading new patient and updating existing patient demographic information in their EHR system to keep records accurate and up to dateThey will communicate over slack with the teams across CA at the other officesThey do send out Zoom links for appts as well, as their providers are now offering Telehealth visits for patients, so they need to be relatively tech savvyCall insurances for eligibility and benefitsProcess medical records and pull medical records when necessaryThey will also be processing paymentsScan and fax documentation to the doctors4-7 providers is the team size they will be working with.
It's important for this person to know that the providers all have different personalities and we should be identifying someone who has an easygoing personality that can mesh well in a team environment like thisIf they have experience with insurance verification and doing any sort of EOBs, that will be helpful Schedule Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm 30 min lunch
