Job Description
INTRODUCTION:
ABC's internship program is designed to empower students and graduates by helping jump-start their careers and sharpen skills while creating meaningful relationships.
This is an 8-week internship beginning in June of 2024.
We are looking for motivated students & graduates that bring fresh thinking, innovation and diversity of thought to ABC.
AS A SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT INTERN, YOU WILL:
Design and build web applications using Typescript, React.js, jQuery, HTML, CSS.
Collaborate with a team to design, develop and ship new features.
Review code and handle merge requests from other developers.
Work with Senior staff to breakdown tasks and provide estimation.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related area.
Experience with Typescript and various programming languages.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated and results-oriented.
Ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Highly developed analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Completed sophomore year of college.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only and based on employees in Canada and may be different in other countries. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and location, as well as market and business considerations. The hourly rate for this role will be $30 CAD. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and commissions.
