We are seeking a Frontend/UI Software Engineer to help build the next generation web platform using modern, cutting edge technologies. This involves using HTML, CSS, and TypeScript with the Angular framework to create a responsive, cohesive, and modern user interface. The Frontend engineer will work in a cross functional, continuous deployment agile team to ensure the best execution plan to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities An active participant in design review, working closely with designers to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designsWorks closely with the team to develop and deliver major features and functionality against the product roadmap. Builds features based on design mockups and specificationsDefines software best practices to include coding style guides, quality processes, peer reviews, design patterns, product security, and engineering best practicesCollaborate with back-end developers and designers to improve usabilityOptimizes the application for maximum speed and scalabilityActively communicates daily progress on a cross-functional team, spots impediments, and helps teammates resolve emergent issuesDebugs, evaluates, and troubleshoots errors and defects throughout the entire product lifecycle Requirements 3+ years of development experience on a dynamic, interactive Agile team contributing to major browser based user interfaces on a production SaaS productExtensive experience with modern TypeScript/JavaScript frameworks, (Angular preferred).Extensive and advanced experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, particularly in building complex, interactive interfaces.Proficiency in Agile development practices, including version control (Git), peer review, DRY principles, and Scrum methodologies.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal teams.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant industry experienceDesire to stay up to date with modern techniques and evolving technologiesExperience with Angular (or similar frameworks) preferredJava expertise preferred for backend integration
