Position Summary: The Pediatric Registered Nurse ensures that children and their family receive home-based services authorized under the Best Start Program.
Best Start program is a family-centered, home-based program with the goal of improving health and safety outcomes for young children ages birth to six, as well as successful reunification for families involved with DCYF.
Best Start is a multidisciplinary team consists of licensed clinicians, pediatric registered nurses and community health workers.Qualifications:Licensed as RN by the RI DOH.Graduate of Board approved and accredited nursing program.Minimum 3-year experience in public health, pediatric nursing or community-based care.Minimum of 3-year experience working with young children (birth to 6) and their families.Current and valid driver's license and auto insurance.Current CPR certification.Ability to have a flexible schedule.Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.Continuing Education Requirements: As needed to maintain individual licensure and meet RI DOH standards.Participation in semi-annual and annual employee performance review process including development and review of professional/program goals and objectives.Other trainings as required by Rhode Island Department of Health.Don't meet every single requirement?
