Job Description - FT Medical Asst/ST Primary Care Tullahoma (******** ) Job Summary Southern Tennessee Regional Health System has an opportunity for you to join our team. A Joint Commission accredited hospital, Southern Tennessee Regional Health System serves the patients of south-central Tennessee with two locations (Winchester and Sewanee).
Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office. May float to cover other offices or clinics as needed and assigned.
Qualifications Minimum Education
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
Licenses
Current certification for a Medical Assistant.
ScheduleFull-time
Work Schedule: Day shift, 7-10 hr/shift, weekdays only.
