The FTT PMO is on the lookout for an energetic PMO Manager to steer a comprehensive project management life cycle and uphold governance standards within the FTT division.
As the PMO Manager, you will lead the PMO team to ensure that projects are executed on schedule and within budget constraints and adhere to our high-quality benchmarks.
The PMO plays a crucial role in bolstering the Franklin Templeton enterprise, which includes diverse functions such as Sales, Marketing, Service and Operations, Investment Management, and Back Office Operations, by delivering impactful results that propel the organization's strategic vision forward.
In this role, you will concentrate on delivering high-value initiatives in a prioritized manner and fostering the development of project management expertise that aligns with the organization's strategic and business objectives.
What is the PMO Manager responsible for?
The PMO Manager serves as the pivotal linchpin of accountability, orchestrating the planning, direction, and coordination of FTT project portfolios, initiatives, and workstreams in alignment with available resources.
The successful candidate will exhibit proficiency in a variety of programs, projects, and resource management methodologies, PMO frameworks, and capacity management.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a PMO Manager? Leadership and People Development: Leads a PMO team and positions the PMO globally to attract and retain the best project management talent.
Coaches and mentors project managers and project teams towards successful project delivery.
Strategic Governance: Aligns business and tech teams by setting up a clear governance framework, focusing on important projects and pragmatic resource management.
Manages communication and escalations among project/program managers, sponsors, key stakeholders, steering committees, and senior management.
Project Management: Establishes project management framework for planning, execution, and tracking.
Manages demand intake, capacity planning, project reporting activities, and partners with stakeholders to deliver project outcomes.
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful? Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Min 8 years related experience in managing PMO resources and talent development Proven experience in project management and PMO leadership Strong leadership skills and ability to manage large and diverse teams Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills Proficient in project management software and tools Experience working in a large-scale multi-national firm essential; Financial Services industry a plus Franklin Templeton offers employees a competitive and valuable range of total rewards-monetary and non-monetary- designed to support the whole person and to recognize their time, talents, and results.
Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks.
There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation.
We expect the salary for this position to range between $150,000 and $175,000.
