The Digital Press Operator is responsible for completing all digital press work in compliance with job specifications and quality standards. This person must schedule workloads to meet customer time requirements. In addition, he/she will perform daily and weekly maintenance on all digital equipment to ensure optimum output. This person is vital to the overall customer service provided and will work closely with other team members.
Tasks Operations of Equipment - Black & White Digital Presses Comply with all OSHA safety requirements Clean and maintain equipment following daily and weekly schedules (video tutorials) Assist Bindery, Wide Format Operation and other areas of the facility if needed Ability to lift 50-90 lbs consistently through the day (push around even more with use of a pallet jack and potentially forklift later) Hit productivity targets and make recommendations to do so Requirements High school diploma/GED with experience or vocational/technical certification. Strong interpersonal skills Good mathematical skills (helps with measurements to ensure print lines up as intended for customer) Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up and maintenance. Reliable attendance, punctuality and attention to workstation. Meet or exceed minimum test results as specified by hiring manager.
