Colorado Residents Only Please Overview EEL Data Systems is looking for a full-stack software engineer to assist in the development of our web and mobile software applications. Hybrid schedule, must live in CO. We do not provide relocation reimbursement nor do we provide work visas.
We are, for all intents and purposes, a start-up that will empower our main company's logistics operations by continuing to develop and improve our newly developed SaaS platform.
Our sister company is a lean operation with over a decade of experience in the logistics space. In this role you will be part of a small, growing team that will bring innovative software to our industry and beyond; we encourage you to reach out.
Preferred Qualifications 4-5 years of experience in software development using Typescript, Node, Vue preferred.
Proficient understanding of software development principles and best practices.
Understanding and experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Bonus Qualifications Proficiency in GIS software, with knowledge in tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with web mapping frameworks and the integration of GIS data into web applications.

Duties and Responsibilities Assist in coding, testing, and debugging our web and mobile applications.
Code and perform unit and continuous integration testing on software to ensure seamless customer experience and adherence to technical requirements.
Ensure proper commenting in codebase in accordance with coding standards and best practices.
Develop and maintain technical systems documentation.
Collaborate with PO and stakeholders to enhance system features and user experience.
Collaborate with development team to identify software bugs and communicate plans to rectify system issues.
Work on delegated system enhancements and issues.
Interact with dev team to get up to speed on systems and code base.
