What you'll do As a Software Engineer at CSS, you'll be an integral part of our data-driven development team, contributing to the evolution of cutting-edge internal tools.
Your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
Data-Driven Development: Contribute to a data-centric development team.Project Planning: Engage in strategic planning for various internal tools.Agile Methodologies: Implement and test software using agile methodologies.Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with a collaborative team to enhance and support technology.Code Contribution: Write, debug, maintain, and test code for diverse projects.Architectural Design: Design scalable systems with a focus on architecture.Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Innovation: Drive innovation within the team and support CSS' technological advancements.Full Stack Development: Willing to switch between our Java-based backend services and frontend implementation based on the needs of the project.What we're looking for Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Software, Computer Systems or Networks Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field.Experience: 3-7 years of domain experience in the specified role.Individual Contribution: A track record of significant contributions in previous roles, showcasing your ability to make a meaningful impact.Strong ability to design and create long-lasting architecture from scratch and evolve existing systems.Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to collaborate with non-engineering stakeholders.Expertise with Java/Go/Python.Experience working on front end/customer-facing products.What else you need to know This role is based in our Downtown San Francisco office location.
