The Basics of a Branch Associate II:
Weekly schedules will be set between the hours of Monday thru Friday 8:30 am to 5:15 pm.
Rotating Saturdays at our Austin-Lamar branch from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.
What you'll do as a Branch Associate II:
Assist in training new team members, provide overrides as needed, vault management as needed, handle complex member issues, and participate in business development events.
Create a Top-Tier experience for members in branch, drive thru and over the phone.
Educate and engage new members on financial products and services using a needs-based approach.
Open new accounts and products including savings, checking, debit cards, money market, CDs, IRAs, HSAs, for both consumer and business members.
Process all routine member transactions including payments, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cash advances, stop payments, money orders, check orders, stamps, cashier's checks, gift cards, safe deposit box access, savings bonds.
Handle member account maintenance including debit card maintenance, address changes, adding joint members, closing accounts, etc.
Problem solve member issues through various communication channels including in-branch, phone, email, etc.
Participate in volunteer events.
Process opening and end-of-day procedures for branch.
Listen to cues from members for additional product needs & make referrals to product experts (Financial Consultants and Loan Officers).
Assist in maintaining a Top-Tier branch appearance.
Adhere to established security protocols to ensure a safe environment is maintained.
Qualifications
Must Haves as a Branch Associate II:
Building Relationships, Verbal Communication, Attention to Detail, Cash Handling, Tech Literacy.
1 year + experience in a Member Services or equivalent role.
HS Diploma/GED
Nice to Haves as a Branch Associate II:
Bilingual in Spanish and English
