Full-Time Hospitalist in Geneva, NY We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Hospitalist to enhance our patient care services in the scenic Finger Lakes region of New York. This role is crucial as you will work to improve patient outcomes, participate in a teamwork-oriented atmosphere, and help shape the overall health service delivery in our community. Salary: $285,000 - $325,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive patient care and manage a wide array of patient conditions through a multidisciplinary approach.Work collaboratively within a team of healthcare professionals to formulate treatment plans and ensure the highest quality of care.Participate in the development and implementation of patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in the provision of continuity of care.Communicate with patients and their families to explain medical plans and provide emotional support.Implement healthcare practices in accordance with compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Engage in continuous professional development opportunities and stay abreast of advancements in the field.Minimum Position Qualifications: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine.Valid New York State Medical License.Experience in hospital medicine preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute care settings.Proven track record of professionalism and ethical practice.Advanced certification in specialty areas (e.g., Critical Care, Cardiology).Prior experience in academic settings, participating in resident education and clinical training.Leadership experience or capabilities.Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.Skills: Strong clinical skills in patient care management.Effective decision-making and ability to handle stress.Excellent team collaboration and networking skills.Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.Commitment to ethical standards and ongoing professional development.Advanced communication skills catered to a diverse patient population.Benefits: Competitive salary and incentives.Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental and vision plans.Generous vacation and leave policies.Retirement plan options and professional growth opportunities.Student loan repayment assistance, relocation assistance, and sign-on bonus.On-site child day care services.
