Emory Healthcare is looking for an experienced Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Interventional Pulmonology team at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital.
In this role, the ideal Advanced Practice Provider (APP) candidate will have 2 + years of Interventional Pulmonology and procedural experience as a PA or Acute Care NP, however prior Critical Care or general Pulmonary experience may be considered.
Position will be Monday through Friday with no call, overnight or weekend requirements.
Our Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners are an integral part of the Emory Healthcare integrated academic health care system. This role is eligible for our APP Incentive Plan.
Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for our Interventional Pulmonology team.
Documents the delivery of care in the individual's medical records.
Conducts patient interviews and documents patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status and medical problems or potential problems.
Under the direction of a physician, performs physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures including cast application and removal, wound suturing and dressing changes.
Assists physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
