Great Lakes Home Healthcare, House Calls and Physical Therapist is looking for a full time PTA who wants to join a seasoned, growing team of more than 20 therapists, at our Skilled Nursing Facility location.PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant): Full Time* Paid Time Off* Flexible Schedule* Flexible HoursThis PTA would join our experienced therapists in a full time position at our skilled nursing facility at Orchard Creek Skilled Nursing Facility, along side our full time PT, OT and COTA.Orchard Creek is a small 22 bed SNF, making each patient and employee feel like family.Great Lakes Home Healthcare, House Calls, and Physical Therapy provides the complete continuum of rehabilitative care. Locally owned and operated in Traverse City since 2003, we offer therapy and skilled nursing for the homebound patient, as well as house call therapy options for the non-homebound, and skilled services in 2 skilled nursing facilities.Our team approach to care means you have the support of other therapists, nurses, and staff who are available should you have any concerns or questions. Quarterly team meetings contribute to the culture of community at Great Lakes.Good communication skills and reliability are a must.Requirements (not an all-inclusive list):* Minimum one year of PTA experience (preferred)* Current, unrestricted* CPR/BLS certified* Demonstrable knowledge of care and communication skills with the geriatric, disabled, and functional adult populations* Ability to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) softwareIf you would like to be a member of the Great Lakes team, please apply today!
