Soliant is searching for a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to get on board with our team and work in a full-time school-based position for the upcoming school year. Your Responsibilities: Prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, cognitive-communication, social, and swallowing disorders in students. Evaluate the communication skills of program-referred students and diagnose speech and/or language disorders. Schedule students appropriately and provide consultative services to teachers, parents, admins, and allied agencies to integrate educational goals into the classroom, other educational programs, and the home environment. Assure the placement of students in the Speech-Language Pathologist program and support SLP objectives on IEPs. Participate in and/or conduct individualized education plans (IEPs) staffing to discover and relate pertinent data used in the determination of student needs. Attend required meetings and conferences as needed. Perform evaluations on program-referred students and make treatment recommendations. The ability to work with diverse students ranging in age, demographic, and disability. Requirements: Must have an Active State of Washington Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License Preferred: Prior experience working as an SLP with students in a school-based setting.
