Functional Safety Engineer

Responsibilities: Perform impact analysis based on vehicle function scope/changes and assess any necessary judgement to plan functional safety analysis work.Create/partial involvement/align functional safety plan.Define/review item definitions for vehicle functions/systems.Perform hazard analysis and risk assessment (HARA).Perform safety analysis: FMEA, FTA per ISO 26262 guidelines.Derive functional safety requirements for vehicle systems.Define the functional safety concept for the relevant system according to ISO 26262 guidelines.Supplier interaction as and when needed during alignment of safety goals, FSRs, TSRs.Responsible for analyzing the processes open points and provide possible solutions.Maintain safety related artifacts/documents and perform review with cross-functional teams.Support functional safety related audits and assessments.Requirements: Functional Safety (FuSa) ISO26262:2018 Part-2, 3, 4 and 8.Preferred: Functional Safety experience of 5 to 6 years.Functional Safety ISO 26262:2018 Level 1 or Level 2 Certified.Essential Skills / Competencies: Functional SafetyISO26262
